Family dining at The Nare

At The Nare, good food and memorable dining experiences are for everyone, whatever their age. The hotel offers relaxed, thoughtful dining options for children, families and adults, ensuring each guest enjoys a meal that suits their pace and preferences. Younger guests can choose from a menu designed for smaller appetites, while adults have the option of a more grown‑up, leisurely dinner later in the evening.

Children's early supper

Younger children are welcome to enjoy an early evening supper from 5.30pm The Quarterdeck Seafood Restaurant. A dedicated children’s menu is available at reception, where orders can be placed in advance so the chefs can prepare everything freshly and the team can set personalised place cards.

Grown-up dining

Later in the evening, guests can enjoy the full à la carte or table d’hôte menus in both The Quarterdeck and The Dining Room.

The Dining Room offers a classic, more formal fine‑dining experience. Complete with flambés, hors d’oeuvres and a selection of cheeses, guests of all ages are encouraged to dress for the occasion and enjoy a traditional 5‑star silver‑service dining room.

To keep the distinctly grown‑up feeling, children under seven are generally not expected in The Dining Room during the later dinner service, but are welcome to experience the dining area during the earlier sittings.
