For keen swimmers, The Nare is a treasure – our five-star hotel in Cornwall has two pools overlooking one of the region's most blissful bays. Set within our subtropical gardens above Carne beach, the hotel's outdoor pool offers panoramic sea views stretching from Nare Head to the Lizard. Plus, with an indoor pool for cooler days and a hot tub beside the beach, there's a choice for everyone.

Both pools open daily 07:00 am - 10:00 pm

 

Outdoor heated pool

Open from May to October
It is not hard to find a hotel in Cornwall with a pool. However, few – if any – hotels in Cornwall can boast such a picturesque poolside view. Set in an elevated position within The Nare's landscaped beachside gardens, the outdoor pool enjoys fantastic views across the beach and out to sea.

Indoor pool

Open all year round
The Nare's indoor pool is open throughout the year, making it a great alternative for those wet days and cooler months. Warm and inviting, the pool comes complete with a jet stream for ambitious swimmers and a hot hydrotherapy spa pool for rest and relaxation. It also offers easy access to the hotel sauna and steam room, reserved for the exclusive use of hotel residents and select spa guests.

Outdoor hot tub

Open all year round
Could this be the best hot tub view in the UK? Perched in a commanding position overlooking the bay, The Nare's outdoor hot tub provides a front-row seat to one of Cornwall's most breathtaking coastal vistas. 

Why not sink back into the warm, soothing waters and watch the day go by? Or, even better, pour a glass of champagne and toast to happy times as the sun sets over Nare Head. 

The hot tub is kept at an enticing 36°C (97°F) throughout the seasons. It is sheltered by a beach hut for privacy and for extra protection from the elements.

Questions answered...

The indoor pool, hydrotherapy spa pool and hot tub are open all year round. The outdoor pool is open during the warmer months (from May to October).
