Family rooms
The Nare is a haven for families. Mere moments away are the safe, golden sands of Carne Beach. Closer still are the hotel's two heated swimming pools, tennis court and croquet lawn. And many rooms and suites can comfortably accommodate family groups, sporting extra bedrooms, or – at least – room for an additional bed for a child.
Here, find a selection of suites that have, or can accommodate, additional beds. Alternatively, rooms for children can be provided next to their parents' room, where availability allows. Families travelling together who wish to discuss sleeping arrangements are encouraged to contact the reservations team online or at 01872 50 11 11.

Whittington Suites
The newest additions to The Nare, these extra-large family suites are equipped with one or two additional bedrooms, as well as spacious sitting rooms. That makes them ideal for gatherings of several generations, or for families travelling with grown-up children.
The suites range in size from 88m² to 132m², making some among the largest sea-view hotel suites in Britain. Each comes with a large double bedroom, at least one additional bedroom, two bathrooms, a sitting room, a pantry and a large private balcony or terrace.
Melinsey Suite
Cosy yet spacious, this ground-floor country view suite includes a private lounge, as well as a double/twin bedroom. The lounge can easily be converted into a twin-bedded cabin room for children, making it ideal for a family of up to four.
Like all country view suites, it also comes with an ensuite bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and proper bath.
Gwendra Suite
The Gwendra Suite offers ample space for a family of three, featuring a double/twin bedroom and an adjoining single cabin room suitable for a child. Decorated in classic country-house style, the suite also includes an open-plan sitting room and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate bath.
Kiberick Suite
A very spacious and flexible sea view suite, the Kiberick can be arranged to accommodate families of up to four. Booked on its own, the suite offers a king/twin bedroom plus an ensuite single-bedded cabin room ideal for a young child. Alternatively, it can be booked alongside its adjoining single sea-view room, where an interconnecting door creates a comfortable shared space for larger groups.
The Kiberick Suite also features a separate, larger ensuite bathroom, a spacious sitting room and a balcony to soak up the splendid sea views.
Pendower Suite
The Pendower is one of the hotel's largest suites. Along with its master bedroom, which enjoys fabulous coastal views, it has a separate cabin room suitable for two young children. Next door, meanwhile, is a single sea view room. Together, they allow the freedom of the entire top floor of the West Wing, offering exquisitely comfortable accommodation for a family of up to five.
Additional comforts include separate bath and shower rooms, a small kitchen and a comfortable sitting room with views overlooking Nare Head.
Resident's Cream Tea
Guests of The Nare are invited to take part in a much-loved and long-standing tradition: the residents' daily cream tea. Served every afternoon since 1989, it was introduced by Bettye Gray - grandmother of the hotel’s current proprietor and the visionary whose principles continue to shape The Nare today.
Served daily from 4.00pm in the Sitting Room and Drawing Room • Complimentary for hotel guests
